April 2012 State Park Bird Walks

Come meet the birds in our state parks! Led by a park volunteer, these fun, informative walks are open to the public and to birders of all levels. Please dress for the weather (hat, sunscreen, etc.) and bring binoculars and a field guide if you have one. Walks are free there is an entrance fee for Anastasia State Park.

Anastasia State Park

A great place to see shorebirds, herons, spoonbills and more.
Meet at Island Beach Shop & Grill at the end of the park road.

Fort Mose Historic State Park
Sunday, Apr. 22, 2012, 8:30-10:30 a.m.
Walk the Boardwalk, see the rookery, search for migrating warblers.
Located on Hwy. 1, one mile north of Route 16.
